Call for Creators

At Augenschmaus, we aim to showcase the best of illustration, graphics, printmaking, object design, jewellery, and fashion. We welcome participants of all ages who are passionate about their craft and work full-time in one of these fields, with a preference for freelancers and independent artists over businesses and companies. Our selection criteria are based on both quality and fit with the market's environment. We strive to maintain a professional atmosphere while also keeping things fresh, fun, and playful.

You can also send us an email or message us on Instagram or Messenger with any questions you may have. We're always happy to hear from you and help you stay informed about our latest events and activities.

While each stand is typically reserved for one creator to ensure a balanced presentation space, we're open to special arrangements. If you have a collaborative project or a unique booth concept that would enhance our market's diversity, we'd be happy to discuss your ideas. Feel free to include these details in your application.

Each participant is responsible for setting their own prices, but we recommend pricing realistically for a market format. Visitors to the market typically do not spend thousands of euros on a single item, so keeping prices in the range of 50€ to 300€ has worked well in the past. However, this is not a guarantee and ultimately it is up to the participant to decide what their work is worth and what they feel comfortable selling it for.

Having started our journey at a cultural center in Mondercange in 2017, we're familiar with this type of venue. At Syrkus, each creator will be provided with:

• A table (160 cm x 80 cm)
• A backwall (covered HERAS fence)
