my illustrations are made in woodcut technique. The source of inspiration for my illustrations are folk tales. Complex designs without trivializations, provided with grotesque elements and exaggerated form stylizations cause the desired high expressivity of the figures. Individual figures are generously, angularly and roughly represented and remind of stone-chiseled reliefs from the Middle Ages.
