Pit is a self-taught photographer based in Luxembourg. His images invite us into intimate, carefully constructed worlds, where fantasy and reality blend and where bodies, identities and stereotypes are engaged with thoughtfully. In his photography, Pit plays with almost theatrical settings to explore themes of visibility, desire and belonging. He draws the viewer’s gaze, not simply to seduce but to question: the embodied subject is both object and narrator. Whether through striking portraiture, nude studies or staged compositions, his work challenges norms around gay bodies and the ways these bodies are seen and consumed in our visual culture. At the heart of his current work is a respect for vulnerability and agency. His subjects are placed in scenarios that reveal more than just their surface, they are invited to reclaim their narratives, to stand in front of the camera as their full selves, beyond stereotypes and imposed expectations. Through this approach, Pit’s photography is not just about the image, it is about identity, community and transformation.
